Day 1 (6/2/2010):

Set-up Server

- Set up and configure apache, mysql & php

Hello World

- Write a simple program and running it

Bulletin Board

- Write a program that will interact with a database

- Display and process a form

- Learn how to interact between pages or request in php

Introduction to CakePHP

- Simple inventory system

- Database design and automatic code generation

- Simple template modifications

Day 2 (7/2/2010):

Upgrading the inventory system (More complete use of CakePHP)

- Handling user login

- User registration

- Booking items and simple business intelligence

Making it fancy

- Javascript and stuff

About :-

Abdullah bin Zainul Abidin graduate in computer science UTM, Skudai in 2003. Immediately after graduation Abdullah bin Zainul Abidin started his own business in computer software consultancy. While doing his own business Abdullah bin Zainul Abidin started to experiment with open source software and fell in love with it. In 2007 he was offered a position to work at the Open Source Competency Center (OSCC) and thought that this was a good opportunity to help open source software really take off in the local Malaysian scene. At OSCC Abdullah bin Zainul Abidin is one of the developers of MyMeeting, the premier Malaysian government open source software. Also at OSCC Abdullah bin Zainul Abidin began experimenting with plone and it’s implementation in organizations. Now I am back in business with Inigo and doing open source software consultancy.
